Violence against women and girls remains one of the most pervasive human rights violations in the world. To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Dibal Foundation launched a robust community sensitization campaign, kicking off the global “16 Days of Activism.”
Unite to End Violence
Our message to the community was clear: violence is not a private matter; it is a community crisis that requires a collective response. Under the global theme “Unite! Invest to Prevent Violence against Women and Girls,” we engaged women, community leaders, and youth in honest conversations about the forms of abuse—physical, emotional, and economic—that often go unreported.

Education as Protection
Knowledge is the first line of defense. The session focused on educating women about their legal rights and the available channels for reporting abuse. We emphasized that silence empowers the abuser, while speaking out is the first step toward safety and healing.
A Commitment to Safety
The Dibal Foundation continues to advocate for a society where every woman and girl can live free from fear. Through these outreach programs, we are not just raising awareness; we are building a support network that stands firm against intimidation and harm.
