Beyond celebrating specific days, the Dibal Foundation is committed to sustainable mentorship through our Girls for Change Community (G4CC) programme. Our recent outreach was more than just a visit; it was a call to action for the young women of Kano.
The G4CC Vision
The Girls for Change initiative is designed to equip young girls with the “soft skills” that traditional education sometimes overlooks: leadership, self-confidence, and public speaking. We believe that for a girl to change her community, she must first believe in her power to do so.

Mentorship in Motion
During the session, our team engaged the students in open discussions about their career aspirations and the social challenges they face. The goal was to shift their mindset from passive beneficiaries to active agents of change. We discussed the importance of peer support—how girls can uplift one another rather than compete.
Creating Safe Spaces
A key part of G4CC is establishing a safe environment where questions can be asked without fear. The enthusiasm shown by the students proves that when given a platform, girls have powerful voices. The Dibal Foundation will continue to nurture these voices, providing the tools and guidance needed for them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
