Digital Generation, Our Generation: Celebrating the Girl Child at G.G.S.S. Jogana

On October 11, 2025, the Dibal Foundation joined the global community in commemorating the International Day of the Girl Child. This year, we took our mission to the bright young minds at Government Girls Secondary School (G.G.S.S.) Jogana, centered around the powerful theme: “Digital Generation. Our Generation.”

Bridging the Gap

In an increasingly digital world, ensuring girls have equal access to technology and information is vital. Our sensitization session focused on empowering the students to see themselves as active participants in the digital future, not just observers. We discussed the importance of education, digital literacy, and the limitless potential that lies within every girl child.

Supporting Health and Dignity

Education thrives when dignity is preserved. To support the students’ well-being, the Dibal Foundation distributed Molped sanitary pads to the attendees. This initiative aims to combat “period poverty,” ensuring that no girl has to miss school or feel uncomfortable due to a lack of access to essential hygiene products.

A Future of Promise

The energy at G.G.S.S. Jogana was electric. From the engaging interactive sessions to the confident questions asked by the students, it is clear that the future is in capable hands. The Dibal Foundation remains committed to standing beside these girls as they break barriers and build their own paths.
