A&JB Dibal Foundation

Amin & Joy Buba Dibal Foundation (A&JBD Foundation), is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit making and non-political association, founded in the year 2021.

The experience of monumental institutional corruption in Nigerian society, widespread violence in the country especially since 2009 and the attendant human suffering has inspired the need to contribute to society in three chosen areas of the Foundation – Good Governance & Accountability, Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Aid.

    Peacebuilding

    Peacebuilding is a social, political or economic activity that aims to resolve injustice in nonviolent ways and to transform the cultural and structural conditions that generate hate and violent conflict.

    Good Governance & Accountability

    The process of decision-making and the process by which decisions are implemented with an approach that demonstrates participation, consensus, orientation, accountability, transparency, responsiveness, effectiveness, efficiency, equity, inclusivity and the rule of law.

    Humanitarian Aid 

    Humanitarian action is intended to “save lives, alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity during and after man-made crises and disasters in a manner that is humane, impartial, neutral and independent by the service providing agency.
